Acid Reflux & Heartburn Consultation
Persistent heartburn, regurgitation, or indigestion that's not responding to over-the-counter remedies? Our pharmacist-led consultation can identify the cause and access prescription-strength treatments where clinically appropriate.
When acid reflux needs more than antacids
Acid reflux (often called heartburn or GORD — gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) is one of the most common reasons people seek pharmacy advice. For most, OTC treatments help — but when symptoms are frequent, severe, or persistent, you need a clinical conversation, not just another box of antacids.
Our pharmacist will discuss your symptoms in detail, review trigger factors, and where clinically appropriate provide a short course of prescription-strength treatment. We'll also identify any ‘red flag’ symptoms that warrant onward referral.
