When you might need a private COVID vaccination

The NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme covers specific eligible groups (over-65s, those with risk conditions, pregnant women, etc). If you're outside those groups but want continued protection — for example for international travel, work in a high-risk setting, or simply for peace of mind — a private vaccination is available.

We use the same vaccines as the NHS programme. You'll receive a certificate of vaccination which is useful for travel and employment records.

Who is this service for?

Private COVID vaccinations are available for most adults. We'll check suitability at your appointment.

Common questions

Which COVID vaccine do you use?
We use the latest UK-approved COVID-19 vaccines — typically updated mRNA vaccines targeting current variants. The exact vaccine in stock depends on the time of year.
Can I have it with my flu jab?
Yes — in most cases COVID and flu vaccines can be administered together. We can also do them on separate visits if you prefer.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by vaccine and season. Please call us on 01254 660473 for current rates.
Do you provide a vaccination certificate?
Yes — you'll receive a private certificate of vaccination useful for travel, employment, or personal records.
How soon before travel should I have it?
Ideally 1-2 weeks before travel to give your immune system time to respond. We can administer it later if needed, but earlier is better for full protection.
