Free Blood Pressure Check in Blackburn
Free, walk-in blood pressure checks for adults aged 40 and over — part of the NHS Hypertension Case-Finding Service. Get peace of mind in under 10 minutes.
Why have your blood pressure checked?
High blood pressure (hypertension) often has no symptoms but is a leading risk factor for heart attack, stroke and kidney disease. The NHS Hypertension Case-Finding Service makes it easy to get a free check from your local pharmacy — no GP appointment, no waiting list.
If your reading is elevated, your pharmacist may offer a second confirmatory check, refer you to your GP, or — where clinically appropriate — arrange a 24-hour ambulatory monitoring follow-up.
