What we offer on the NHS

Free NHS blood pressure check for adults aged 40 and over. Walk in, no appointment needed.
Ongoing oral contraception supply and consultations as part of the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service — no need to see your GP for repeat prescriptions.
Seasonal COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible patients during national booster campaigns.
Free seasonal flu vaccinations for eligible NHS patients — including over-65s, pregnant women, and those with long-term conditions.
Free NHS flu vaccination for eligible children — the needle-free nasal spray. Missed the school session? We can help (season: 1 Oct–31 Mar).
Support and follow-up when you've started a new long-term medication — to help you take it safely and get the most benefit.
Whooping cough vaccination in pregnancy to protect newborns from the first weeks of life. Recommended between 16–32 weeks.
Same-day clinical advice on 7 common conditions — sinusitis, sore throat, earache, infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, and uncomplicated UTI in women.
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination for adults aged 75–79 and pregnant women from 28 weeks. Helps protect newborns.
Free meningitis B vaccination for Year 13 leavers and first-year students under 25 starting university or college in 2026. Two doses of Bexsero — first dose before 31 Dec 2026.

Most NHS services at Curo are walk-in. You don't need a referral, an appointment, or to be registered with us — but there are several ways to engage with us.

Visit us at 62 Haslingden Road during opening hours, seven days a week. No appointment needed.

NHS 111 referral
If you call NHS 111, you may be referred directly to us as a participating Community Pharmacy.
