Make your asthma treatment work harder for you

Up to 70% of people with asthma don't use their inhaler correctly — which means they're not getting the full benefit of their medication. Our private asthma support service offers detailed inhaler technique reviews, action plan refinement, and clinical advice on managing your symptoms day-to-day.

This is a support service that complements your GP-led care. We don't replace your asthma reviews with your GP, but we can help you between appointments and make sure your inhaler technique is spot-on.

Who is this service for?

Our asthma support service is suitable for most patients with diagnosed asthma. Acute or worsening symptoms need urgent GP or hospital care.

Common questions

Is this a replacement for my GP asthma review?
No — we complement GP-led care, not replace it. Annual asthma reviews with your GP are still recommended. Our service is helpful between reviews and for patients who want extra hands-on support.
Why does inhaler technique matter so much?
Poor technique can mean as little as 10% of the medication reaches your airways. Good technique can deliver 40-50%. That difference dramatically affects how well your asthma is controlled.
Can you change my inhaler?
Not directly — prescription changes come from your GP. But if your current inhaler isn't working for you, we can liaise with your GP and recommend an alternative for them to consider.
Do you do peak flow tests?
Yes — we can demonstrate peak flow technique and discuss what your numbers mean for your asthma action plan.
What if my child has asthma?
Children with asthma are welcome with a parent. Spacer use is especially important for young children — we're happy to demonstrate.
